Official Commercial Policy Version 4.2

Creator Terms, Privacy & Payment Policies

Governing agreements, direct kitchen payment procedures, refund milestones, and ecosystem conduct for the RurbanMate Creator Network (Bhoji & RiderMan Ecosystem).

1 Unified Identity & Bhoji Directory Integration

RurbanMate operates an integrated regional commerce network. When an individual applies or registers as an accredited creator on the RurbanMate Creator Network, their primary user identity (legal name, phone number, and location credentials) is synchronized with the central Bhoji User directory.

  • Single Verified Sign-In: Any verified Bhoji consumer can apply to become an accredited Creator using their registered mobile phone number via secure OTP verification.
  • Dual-Role Protection: A registered Creator automatically maintains verified consumer access on Bhoji, allowing them to order directly, test partner kitchen quality, and monitor customer journey first-hand.
  • Audit Separation: To maintain strict regulatory compliance and independent financial audits, all creator marketing agreements, coupon assignments, and earnings ledgers are maintained in specialized commercial ledgers separate from consumer orders.

2 Serving Districts & Localized Matching Protocol

Influencer marketing on RurbanMate is hyper-local. Creators are approved to represent partner kitchens only in the geographic territories where they reside and hold genuine consumer reach.

Mandatory Serving Districts Selection:
Creators must select one or more serving districts during profile setup. Kitchen discovery, partnership proposals, and active coupon reservations are matched strictly based on these selected districts. Creators cannot propose collaborations or reserve coupon codes for kitchens operating outside their declared serving districts.
  • Coupon Allocation Quota: Creators are assigned an initial quota of 2 reserved coupon codes upon registration. Expansion of this quota is subject to performance evaluation and administrative review.
  • Exclusive Territory Allocation: RurbanMate strictly caps the total number of accredited creators onboarded per district (pilot: 10–20 in Balasore) to ensure that participating creators earn substantial commissions without audience saturation.

3 Post-Collaboration KYC & Banking Verification

To make onboarding frictionless, creators are not required to submit sensitive government identity documents or financial credentials during preliminary registration.

  • Preliminary Stage: Requires only mobile verification, full legal name, gender, contact email, and serving district selection.
  • Trigger for Verification: Full identity and payout verification is unlocked and made mandatory only after a partner kitchen approves the creator's collaboration proposal.
  • Statutory Identity Check: The creator must provide their 12-digit Aadhaar number and 10-character Permanent Account Number (PAN) along with supporting document proofs for regulatory compliance.
  • Payment Method Choice (UPI or Bank Account): The creator must submit either their active UPI ID or Direct Bank Account Details (Account Number + IFSC). Verification of either one method is sufficient to activate the creator account.
  • Direct Kitchen Payout Purpose: These banking credentials are saved securely so that partner kitchens can transfer weekly commissions directly to the creator. The platform does not deduct or disburse commissions on the kitchen's behalf.

4 Weekly Commission Statements & Direct Kitchen Settlement

Commissions are calculated automatically by RurbanMate every week (every Monday) for all successfully completed and delivered orders generated through the creator's assigned 8-character coupons.

Direct Kitchen Settlement & 7-Day Due Date Rule:
All creator commissions are paid directly by the partner kitchen to the creator's verified UPI or bank account. The platform computes and issues the weekly invoice statement every Monday. Kitchen partners are contractually required to settle all creator dues within 7 calendar days (before the next weekly cycle).
  1. Direct Settlement: The partner kitchen initiates payment directly to the creator using the verified UPI ID or Bank details displayed on the kitchen's collaboration dashboard. The RurbanMate platform is not an intermediary payment processor and does not auto-debit payments.
  2. UTR / Reference Submission: Upon completing the payment, the partner kitchen enters the official bank transaction reference (UTR) in the portal to mark the invoice as "Paid".
  3. Creator Confirmation: The creator receives an automated notification and is contractually required to confirm receipt within 48 hours of genuine receipt into their account.
  4. Kitchen Default Penalty: If a kitchen fails to complete creator payment within 7 calendar days, the kitchen's creator collaboration privileges and merchant account payouts on Bhoji are automatically placed on HOLD until all creator arrears are cleared.

5 Dispute Resolution Protocol & Anti-Fraud Sanctions

RurbanMate maintains zero tolerance for bad-faith payment claims, falsified payment proofs, or bad-debt defaults from either party:

  • Kitchen False "Paid" Escrow: If a kitchen partner marks an invoice as "Paid" with a counterfeit, incomplete, or invalid UTR reference, the creator can trigger a formal dispute. If the kitchen is found in deliberate default, its Bhoji merchant store will be temporarily suspended and creator slots revoked.
  • Creator False Non-Receipt Claims: If a kitchen completes genuine transfer and provides a bank-verified UTR, but the creator refuses to confirm receipt or files false non-receipt claims, the kitchen may escalate to RurbanMate administration for formal verification.
  • Mandatory Bank Audit: Platform administrators will verify the UTR against official banking channels and may request proof of bank statements.
  • Permanent Platform Ban for Dishonest Claims: If an investigation proves that a creator deliberately withheld confirmation or filed fraudulent non-receipt claims after funds were credited, the creator will be stripped of accreditation, their coupon codes immediately deactivated, and their identity permanently blacklisted across all RurbanMate platforms.

6 Accreditation Fee & 100-Order Milestone Refund Policy

7 Agreement Durations & Partner Capacity Bounds

RurbanMate maintains dynamic capacity balancing to safeguard the economic value of partnerships:

  • Agreement Term: The standard collaboration agreement between a creator and a partner kitchen is established for a period of 6 months. Renewals create fresh agreement records to maintain complete historical commission snapshots.
  • Kitchen Slot Capacities: Each partner kitchen operates with a system-enforced creator slot limit (typically 5 to 7 accredited creators per kitchen) to prevent influencer saturation and preserve high engagement for collaborating partners.
  • Mutual Discontinuation: Either party may request non-renewal or mutual termination of a collaboration agreement by providing 14 days notice, provided all outstanding weekly commission statements have been fully settled.

8 Code of Conduct, Non-Defamation & Cross-Brand Blacklisting

Creators operate as accredited brand ambassadors and commercial partners of Bhoji partner kitchens:

Strict Zero Tolerance for Public Defamation:
Accredited creators are strictly prohibited from publishing negative, defamatory, misleading, derogatory, or staged disparaging content (video, reel, story, audio, or written post) against ANY Bhoji partner kitchen under any circumstance.
  • Confidential Quality Feedback: Creators who identify genuine food hygiene, packaging, or taste deficiencies must submit feedback confidentially through the Complaints & Feedback portal for immediate administrative mediation.
  • Cross-Brand Termination & Blacklisting: Any creator found guilty of publicly defaming, disparaging, or sabotaging a partner kitchen will have their Creator ID revoked immediately, all reserved coupons cancelled, and will be permanently banned across all current and future platforms of RurbanMate Private Limited (including Bhoji, RiderMan, YourTax, EdFlow, AssetsFile, RurbanCare, and RurbanTalks).
  • Legal Remedies: In cases of deliberate extortion, defamatory review campaigns, or malicious commercial sabotage, RurbanMate and the affected kitchen partner reserve all rights to pursue legal proceedings under applicable civil and criminal laws.
